We feel strongly that a quality wine starts first in the vineyard with well-tended fruit and perfect terroir.  Once the grapes enter the winery, the #1 goal of our winemaking team is to stay out of the way and ensure the natural gifts of terroir and the grower's efforts are well-rewarded.  This non-intervention approach assures a wine true to its varietal character without the wine-making manipulation typical of many wines today.

Our barrel practices harken back to the middle of the last century, before over-oaking became a common practice in premium wine making. Great grapes do not need a lot of oak, which can smother a wine’s varietal character and complexity. Our new wines are aged in 50% new French and American oak with 50% one year oak for 20-22 months. Our barrels come from a variety of renowned cooperages, and this balance of new and neutral oak is just the right balance to let the great fruit character shine.

Our signature wine, the Cuvee Marquis
, is crafted from four important WA vineyards - Stillwater Creek, Conner Lee, Gamche and Weinbau.
The Walla Walla Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is 100% from Dwelley Vineyard in Walla Walla.

Our Columbia Valley Cabernet Sauvignon comes from Gamache Vineyard, Stillwater Creek, Weinbau and Conner Lee vineyards.

Washington is famous for its high standard for merlot and our grower is no different.  We source our merlot from the Stillwater Creek Vineyard, which is highly sought-after by the regions top winemakers.

Our Red Table Wine is a refreshing, food-friendly wine that is a blend sourced from the same vineyards as our Cuvee Marquis.

We expanded our portfolio starting in 2009 with wine club-only bottlings of Cabernet Franc and Malbec.  For more info on our Wine Club see
